Network Service Scope

  • Site survey: topology, IP planning, and network capacity.
  • Structured cabling: Cat6/Cat6A UTP and fiber optic cabling, complete with racks and patch panels.
  • LAN & WiFi: switches, routers, access points, and VLAN segmentation.
  • Firewall & VPN: network security, secure remote access, and bandwidth control.
  • Server room: rack layout, UPS, and tidy cabling.
  • Maintenance: monitoring, troubleshooting, and scheduled checks.

Signs Your Office Network Needs Work

  • The internet is slow at peak hours, even though your ISP plan is already fast.
  • WiFi drops when you move between rooms or floors.
  • Server room cables are messy and unlabeled, so faults are hard to trace.
  • Guest, staff, CCTV, and printer traffic still share a single network.
  • There is no documentation: nobody knows where devices are, what the IP addresses are, or what the admin passwords are.

If two or more of these sound familiar, the network design is usually what needs fixing, not just the router.

How We Work

  1. Site survey: we check floor plans, cable routes, access points, and user needs.
  2. Design & quotation: a network design with a device list and costs.
  3. Installation & configuration: physical installation, configuration, and testing of every point.
  4. Handover: network documentation and a walkthrough for your team.

What You Receive After Installation

  • Labeled cables at every point and patch panel, so they are easy to trace.
  • A network topology diagram and device list.
  • An IP address list and VLAN plan for staff, guests, CCTV, and servers.
  • Device admin access handed over to your company, not kept by the vendor.

Stable Office WiFi

Good office WiFi takes more than one powerful router. We calculate the number and placement of access points based on floor area, wall materials, and number of users, then configure the network so devices roam smoothly between access points. The guest network is separated from the staff network to keep company data secure.

Equipment We Use

We are not tied to a single brand. We select switches, access points, firewalls, and cabling systems based on your needs, the building's condition, your existing equipment, and your budget. If your office already uses a particular brand, we can continue with the same brand so management stays consistent. Who We Serve

Suitable for offices, hospitals, government agencies, universities, and warehouses.

  • New or relocating offices that need a network built from scratch. See also our new office IT checklist.
  • Offices with slow or unreliable networks that need an audit and repairs.
  • Hospitals, warehouses, and multi-story buildings that need wide WiFi coverage and separate networks for CCTV or medical devices.
  • Companies with branch offices that need secure connections over VPN.

What Determines Network Installation Cost

  1. Number of network points: every desk, printer, camera, and access point counts as a point.
  2. Cable length and routing: the distance from the rack to each point, and whether cables run through ceilings or walls or need conduit.
  3. Cable type: Cat6 UTP for most offices, fiber optic for long distances or links between buildings.
  4. Active devices: switch class, number of access points, and firewall requirements.
  5. Supporting infrastructure: racks, patch panels, and UPS.

FAQ Office Network Installation

Can you do a site survey before the quotation?

Yes. For network installations we recommend a site survey so the design and cost estimate are accurate. Schedule a survey via WhatsApp or our contact page.

Can Techarg fix an existing network?

Yes. We can audit and repair networks already in place, including tidying cables, replacing devices, or reconfiguring settings.

Cat6 or Cat6A cable, which should I choose?

Cat6 is enough for most offices. We recommend Cat6A if the network is planned for 10 Gbps or will serve the latest generation of WiFi access points. For long distances or links between buildings, we use fiber optic.

Can you install WiFi without re-running cables?

Yes, as long as the existing cables and switches are still in good condition. During the survey we check the existing cabling and devices, then advise whether adding or replacing access points is enough.

Which areas do you serve?

Our head office is in South Jakarta. We serve all of Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek, covering Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi) and take on projects across Indonesia. For locations outside Greater Jakarta, we schedule the survey and installation together with you.

How long does an office network installation take?

It depends on the number of points, the building's condition, and device availability. We include an estimated timeline in the quotation after the survey.

Can the installation be done outside working hours?

Yes. For offices that stay open, installation can be scheduled at night or on weekends so it does not disrupt your operations.
